Be An Online Dj In 2009

I think it should go with out saying that if you want to be successful in building your online credibility for a product or a site that you need to be involved in social networks. Networking online has become a vital part of achieving success online. Either as a marketer, salesman, blogger or what ever else you may be trying to achieve on the internet. Being involved in the right social networking sites has become the difference in a so-so online presence to a world wide success in the online communities.

Keeping that in mind you should spend time keeping an eye on what’s going on with social media sites as you never know when the next Facebook, MySpace or Twitter will reach that pivotal tipping point where they go main stream.  There are ideas for new social sites popping up all over the place as everyone is trying to be the next big social hub on the internet.

Two sites that really seem to come into their own last year and I think will really go big in 2009 are two music sharing sites. They are Last.fm and Blip.fm both sites are geared towards the music lover in all of us. Both sites look to connect people through music but they both go about in two different ways.

The last.fm site is great for finding music your favorite artist have done and then recommending other artist in the musical genre that you also may like. I found quite a few just in the first few hours I was on there. The over at blip.fm their layout will look familiar to those of you that have a twitter account. Again you do a search for your favorite artist or song and hit play only at blip it recommends other “djs” that have also played that song. Giving you the option to follow those people and hear their musical selections.

Both sites are great fun if you love music but with the social “friend” connections that you can make there as well. Both of these sites I feel will hold some serious social networking juice for years to come. So go check them out it’s music listening for free!
